The time has finally arrived to announce the winner of our latest contest.

You probably remember that the contest was to help me name my new pet red dragon. We got literally hundreds and hundreds of entries and spent a lot of time sorting through them all to pick a really great winner.

The Grand Prize is a gift certificate to get your hands on some of our incredibly cool Dragon Gear merchandise (which includes t-shirts, sweatshirts, magnets, stickers and mousepads etc) from our Pandanda Gear partner website .

And the winning Panda is: Noct who suggested the name "Phoenix" for my dragon. He loves his new name as you can see in the picture above.

Congratulations Noct, your gift certificate will be emailed to you soon. Also well done to everyone who entered – we really do have awesome players who came up with really creative entries.

Also in other news the Pandanda Weather Forecaster is predicting SNOW in the coming week! Cool. I don’t know about you, but I love snow. You better stock up on scarves and stocking caps in the store so you can bundle up and stay warm!

Today I’m super excited to kick off our latest contest.

The contest is to help me think of a really great name, one that is worthy of being given to a fiery red dragon. Once you have thought about it, email your answer to us along with the name of your Panda. There is a limit to one entry per email address (the one you used when you created your panda) per day. There will be one Grand Prize for the winner and it’s really awesome! The winner will be announced on Saturday November 28th in my blog.

The winner will receive an email gift certificate for $50.00USD that they can use to get the gear of their choice, like the items shown below. Click the image to see the items at the store.

To submit your entry (have your parent or guardian help you):

1. Read and obey the rules. Entering the competition means that you and your parent/guardian agree to the rules. If you are under 13 years old, please ask your parent or guardian to review them with you, along with our website terms of use specifically with regard to the use of submissions you send to us.

2. Ask your parent or guardian to email your entry to contest@pandanda.com from their email address, the one they used when they signed you up for Pandanda.

3. Type the words “Dragon Naming Contest” in the subject line of the email.

4. Type your Panda name in the text of the email for example “Panda Name: Paige.”

5. Do NOT include your real name, house address or phone number.

6. Email your entry to Pandanda to receive it no later than Friday, November 27th at 11:59pm, Pacific Standard Time (PST). There is a limit of one entry per valid email address per day.

Zing has placed tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and exchange for his prizes. You can find tickets on the ground in every location, except your tree house. Whether you’re wandering around or just hanging out with your friends, you’ll eventually see a ticket appear on the ground. Just be sure to grab it before it disappears!

You don’t have to collect all your tickets all at once, if you log out your tickets will still be there the next time you log in. Once you’ve collected 10 tickets, go visit Zing in the Treehouse Lobby to trade them for his weekly prize or a bag of coins!

Zing Ballyhoo is headed back to Pandanda! Zing has been away collecting new rare items from far away lands. His tent is already set up in the Treehouse Lobby and Zing should be arriving early next week with lots of new prizes to give away!

Zing will be placing golden tickets all over Pandanda for you to collect and exchange for his prizes. Once he arrives, you will find tickets scattered throughout Pandanda Land.
